The 'MK IV Series '80, National Match,' an American made 1911-A1 style semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 Automatic, manufactured circa 1997 (Mfg. date from box) in Hartford, CT. Pistol has a two-toned finish with a blued slide and a stainless frame, with brushed sides and matte contours. It features a 5" barrel, angled slide serrations, full-length metal guide rod, hollow recoil spring plug, partridge front sight, micrometer adjustable Elliason square notch rear sight, serrated frame mounted thumb safety, smooth extended beavertail grip safety, internal firing pin safety, wide serrated skeletonized adjustable target trigger, skeletonized hammer, serrated hammer spur, checkered rubberized mainspring housing, serrated push-button magazine release, seven round magazines, and black single-piece checkered rubber wrap-around grips with silver colored Colt medallions. The original stainless finish retained is approximately 98% with a few light scattered scratches, and some scratches under the slide stop. The blued finish is approximately 98% as well, with light scattered scratches with most at the left side of the slide towards the muzzle. Metal displays no rust or deformation, and the action is smooth and crisp. Bore is bright with strong rifling, but the pistol needs to be cleaned. The grips are excellent. Pistol includes original blue plastic factory box, and one magazine total.
